1ml of glass and steel. The graduations are fused into the barrel, so they outlast the plastic syringe you bought last time.

A borosilicate barrel with a stainless steel plunger and a luer-lock tip. Marked in 0.1ml steps, accurate to about 0.05ml at mid-range, and chemically inert, so it will not absorb oils or react with solvents the way plastic does. Resin mixers, essential oil formulators, and lab users buy it for the same reason: the measurement is the same on use fifty as it was on use one.
Why this one
Plastic syringes fade, absorb, and drift. Metal ones hide the liquid level. Glass gives you visibility and inertness in one tool, and this one is autoclavable at 121C for 15 minutes when the work needs to be sterile. It ships clean, not sterile, so plan for that step.

Common questions
Is this syringe sterile out of the box?
No. It ships clean but non-sterile. For sterile lab or pharmaceutical use, autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes first.
How do I clean it after thick liquids?
Rinse right away with warm distilled water, plus 70% isopropyl alcohol if residue lingers. Never let thick liquids dry inside the barrel; they harden and jam the plunger.
What is the difference between luer-lock and luer-slip?
Luer-lock has threads and twists on. Luer-slip just pushes on. This syringe is luer-lock, so a needle or filter cannot slip off under pressure.
What if the plunger gets stuck?
Soak in warm distilled water for 10-15 minutes, then work it gently. If it will not move, do not force it. Contact us for a replacement.
