Sheets and rolls

Pure PTFE in rolls, and clear FEP in precut sheets and bulk rolls. The materials lab techs and heat-press operators ask for by name. PTFE survives 500F and chemical solvents. FEP gives you optical clarity for layered work. Both are virgin film, not recycled, not blended.

Common questions

What is the difference between PTFE and FEP?

PTFE is opaque white, FEP is clear. Both are nonstick and chemical-resistant. PTFE holds higher temperatures. FEP gives you visibility for layered work and a slightly slicker surface for material release. For most heat-press work, PTFE. For 3D resin printing or anything you need to see through, FEP.

What thickness do I want?

For a heat press, 5 mil is the sweet spot. For a work surface or chemical-resistant placemat, 10 mil or 20 mil. For 3D resin printer film, follow your printer’s spec. We sell FEP in the standard thicknesses.

How long does it last?

With normal heat-press use, hundreds of pulls per sheet before the surface degrades. Industrial users report multi-year service from a single roll. The failure mode is usually a tear, not surface wear.
