Most parchment is a single sheet of treated paper. Ours is parchment on one side, food-grade aluminum foil on the other, with a sealed membrane between them. The foil reflects bottom heat. Cookies brown evenly. Biscuits hold their shape. One sheet holds a full batch without curling. It is the kind of specialty paper that used to sit on every grocery store baking aisle and quietly stopped showing up around 2014. We run small batches of the same construction every quarter.
