Clear FEP film in precut squares. The transparent cousin of PTFE.

FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) is what you want when you need the nonstick performance of PTFE but you also need to see through the sheet. Use a square as a see-through cover sheet on small heat-press transfers, as a release surface for small resin pieces, or as a clear liner for lab work. Each sheet is a 4 x 4 in (101 mm) square, 0.05 mm thick.

Common questions

What is the difference between FEP and PTFE?

FEP is clear. PTFE is opaque white. Both are fluoropolymers, both are nonstick, both are chemically inert. PTFE handles higher continuous temperatures (500F vs FEP’s 400F). FEP gives you visibility.

How thick is the film?

0.05 mm, which is about 2 mil. Every pack is the same thickness.
