The cups are graduated, so measuring is straightforward for resins that mix by equal parts; check your resin's ratio first, since some table-top epoxies mix 2:1 instead of 1:1. Spreaders are reusable if you clean them with acetone before the epoxy hardens. Cups, sticks, and gloves are single-use. Resin itself is not included; a 1-gallon bar-top epoxy covers most table and counter projects. You'll also want a torch or heat gun for bubbles, painter's tape for edges, and 220-grit sandpaper, which most workshops already have.
Is it overkill for a small coaster project? A bit, yes. For mold work you can get by with basic cups and stir sticks from our craft supplies. For a full pour, the biggest beginner mistake is under-mixing, and the flat sticks here reach the cup corners so both parts blend completely.
